Bouncy Castle
Terms & Conditions

These Bouncy Castle Hire Terms & Conditions apply to bouncy castle hire services provided by Norivan Kids Entertainment (“Norivan”) and apply in addition to the Norivan Kids Entertainment General Terms & Conditions.

By confirming a Bouncy Castle booking with Norivan, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Bouncy Castle Terms & Conditions and the Norivan Kids Entertainment General Terms & Conditions.

1. Site Requirements, Access & Setup

Surface: Bouncy castles are installed on flat grass surfaces only, unless otherwise agreed in advance. The setup area must be clear of stones, debris, animal waste, sharp objects, garden furniture, sprinkler systems, and any other hazards.

Access: The Client must ensure clear access to the setup area. A minimum access path of approximately 1.5–2 metres wide is required so the equipment can be rolled into place.

Power: The Client must provide a stable 230V power source within 20 metres of the setup area. If no suitable power source is available, a generator may be provided for an additional fee if arranged in advance.

Timing & Delays: The Client must be ready for Norivan’s arrival at the agreed time. If the team is delayed due to locked gates, blocked access, unprepared surfaces, lack of parking, unavailable power, or any other issue caused by the Client or venue, Norivan reserves the right to charge a waiting fee or shorten the hire period.

2. Public Spaces, Permits & Engineering Certification

Public Areas: Norivan does not usually provide bouncy castle hire in public areas, including parks, beaches, plazas, streets, or other open public spaces, due to safety, access, insurance, anchoring, equipment, and local regulation considerations.

Public Space Requests: A permit from the local Ayuntamiento may only authorise the event itself and does not automatically include permission to bring or set up an inflatable, blower, mats, anchoring equipment, cables, generator, safety equipment, or any other bouncy castle hire equipment in that public space.

Client Responsibility: The Client is responsible for ensuring that any permit, venue permission, public space authorisation, or event approval specifically allows all service elements required for the booking.

Service Requirements: Norivan can only provide the service if the permitted setup matches the requirements of the selected service and can be carried out safely and appropriately.

Engineering Certification: For public setups, municipal events, or events requiring official authorisation, a Technical Project / Certificate of Assembly and Structural Safety (Certificado de Montaje y Solidez) signed by a qualified engineer may be required. The Client is solely responsible for arranging and paying for any required engineer certification.

Technical Data: Norivan can provide the equipment’s available technical data sheets where needed. However, the final site-specific certification, engineering approval, and any official event documentation remain the Client’s responsibility and cost.

Liability for Fines: Any fines, penalties, event stoppages, legal consequences, or cancellation caused by missing permits, incomplete permissions, missing engineering certificates, venue restrictions, public space restrictions, or lack of official authorisation are the full responsibility of the Client.

No Refund for Missing Permissions: If authorities or venue management stop the event due to missing permissions, incomplete permissions, restricted setup approval, or missing documentation, no refund will be issued.

3. Supervision & Safe Use

Standard Hire: Standard bouncy castle hire does not include Norivan staff supervision unless booked as an optional extra.

Self-Supervised Hire: For self-supervised hire, the Client is responsible for ensuring that at least one responsible adult provides constant, active supervision throughout the hire period.

Optional Supervision: Dedicated Norivan supervision may be added for an additional fee and must be booked in advance.

Capacity: The Client must monitor the number of users and follow any capacity guidance provided by Norivan during setup.

Staining & Damage: These items can permanently stain or damage the inflatable material. If prohibited items are used and damage or staining occurs, the Client will be responsible for cleaning, repair, or replacement costs.

6. Weather & Technical Safety

Unsafe Weather: Bouncy castles must not be used in unsafe weather conditions, including heavy rain, thunderstorms, or strong wind.

Stopping Use: If weather conditions make use unsafe, or if instructed by Norivan, the Client must immediately stop use and evacuate all users.

Power or Blower Failure: If the blower stops, power fails, or the inflatable begins to deflate, all users must leave the inflatable immediately.

Inflation & Deflation: No one may use the inflatable during inflation or deflation.

Right to Refuse Setup: Norivan reserves the right to refuse setup, stop use, or cancel the hire if weather or site conditions are unsafe.

7. Refundable Damage Deposit

Deposit Requirement: For self-supervised hire, a refundable damage deposit may be required in addition to the booking balance.

Purpose of Deposit: This deposit is held as security against damage, misuse, negligence, prohibited items, excessive cleaning, or failure to follow the safety rules.

Return of Deposit: The deposit will be returned after collection if the inflatable and equipment are returned in good condition.

Deductions: If damage, staining, excessive dirt, missing equipment, or misuse is found, Norivan may retain all or part of the deposit.

Additional Costs: If repair or replacement costs exceed the deposit amount, the Client remains responsible for the full cost.

Supervised Hire: When Norivan supervision is booked, the damage deposit may be reduced or waived at Norivan’s discretion.

8. Damage & Liability

Equipment Damage: The Client is responsible for any damage to Norivan equipment caused by guests, children, adults, venue staff, pets, or third parties during the hire period.

Norivan Responsibility: Norivan will take reasonable care to install the equipment safely and provide appropriate setup instructions.

Client Responsibility: Norivan is not liable for injuries, accidents, property damage, losses, or distress caused by failure to follow safety instructions, lack of adult supervision, misuse of the inflatable, unsafe behaviour, adult use, incompatible age groups, unsuitable venue conditions, wet or slippery surfaces, prohibited items, interference with equipment, power failures, weather conditions, or actions of the Client, guests, venue staff, pets, or third parties.

Legal Limitation: Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
