Mini Disco
Terms & Conditions
These Mini Disco Terms & Conditions apply to Classic Mini Disco and Neon Glow Party services provided by Norivan Kids Entertainment (“Norivan”) and apply in addition to the Norivan Kids Entertainment General Terms & Conditions.
By confirming a Mini Disco booking with Norivan, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Mini Disco Terms & Conditions and the Norivan Kids Entertainment General Terms & Conditions.
1. Private Venue Policy
Private Venues Only: Norivan Mini Disco services are provided only at private venues, such as villas, private gardens, fincas, private homes, or rented indoor event spaces.
Public Areas: Norivan does not provide Mini Disco services in public areas, including parks, beaches, plazas, streets, or other open public spaces, even if local permission has been requested by the Client.
Public Space Requests: A local permit may only authorise the event itself and does not automatically include permission to bring or set up sound systems, lighting, electrical equipment, props, decorations, activity materials, or party setups in that public space.
Reason for Policy: This policy helps ensure safe setup, appropriate sound control, and safe use of electrical equipment.
2. Access, Parking & Setup Area
Access: The Client must provide clear access to the setup area before Norivan’s arrival.
Parking: The Client must provide suitable parking for the Norivan team. Any parking fees, access fees, loading fees, or venue charges are the responsibility of the Client.
Setup Area: The Client must provide a safe, dry, and suitable area for the DJ booth, speakers, lighting, cables, and activity equipment.
Equipment Storage: A small safe space must be available to store equipment boxes and personal belongings out of children’s reach.
Timing & Delays: If the team is delayed due to locked gates, blocked access, unavailable parking, an unprepared setup area, or any other issue caused by the Client or venue, Norivan reserves the right to charge a waiting fee or shorten the service time.
3. Technical & Power Requirements
Electricity: The Client must provide a stable 230V power outlet within 10 metres of the setup area.
Power Safety: Norivan is not responsible for failures caused by the venue’s electrical wiring, power cuts, overloaded circuits, tripped breakers, or unstable electricity supply.
Pools & Wet Areas: Norivan reserves the right to refuse setup near pools, on wet ground, on damp surfaces, or in any area where electrical safety may be compromised.
Equipment Safety: A clear “No-Go Zone” must be maintained around the DJ booth, speakers, lighting, cables, microphones, and electrical equipment.
Client Responsibility: The Client is responsible for ensuring that children and guests do not touch, pull, climb on, move, or play with any Norivan equipment.
4. Sound, Lighting & Special Effects
Lighting Effects: Mini Disco sessions may include music, LED lights, flashing effects, UV lighting, disco lights, lasers, bubbles, smoke, fog, and other party effects.
Sound Levels: Norivan monitors sound levels for children’s comfort and hearing safety. Norivan has final authority over music volume.
Photosensitivity Warning: The Client must inform Norivan in advance if any guest has photosensitive epilepsy, sensory sensitivities, or any medical condition that may be affected by flashing lights, UV lighting, sound, bubbles, smoke, or party effects.
Smoke or Fog Machines: If smoke or fog machines are used, the Client must confirm that the venue allows them and that smoke alarms will not be triggered.
Alarm Costs: Any costs caused by alarm activation, fire department call-outs, venue penalties, or alarm resets are the responsibility of the Client.
5. Neon Products & Venue Care
Neon Products: For Neon Glow Parties, Norivan may use skin-safe neon products designed for party use.
Use on Skin Only: Neon products are intended for use on skin only and must not be applied to furniture, walls, upholstery, rugs, curtains, flooring, stone surfaces, or delicate venue materials.
Neon Zone: Norivan recommends creating a designated Neon Zone to reduce the risk of marks, stains, or contact with sensitive surfaces.
Clothing & Surfaces: Neon products may leave marks or stains on clothing, furniture, venue surfaces, or personal belongings.
Client Responsibility: The Client is responsible for informing parents or guardians about the use of neon products before children participate.
Allergies & Sensitivities: Norivan is not responsible for allergic reactions, skin sensitivity, marks, stains, or damage caused by neon products unless caused directly by proven negligence by Norivan.
6. Bubbles, Dance Floor & Activity Safety
Bubble Use: Mini Disco sessions may include bubble play.
Slippery Surfaces: Bubbles, movement games, dancing, liquids, polished floors, tiles, or outdoor surfaces may create slippery areas.
Footwear: Appropriate footwear is recommended to reduce the risk of slipping.
Behaviour: The Client is responsible for helping manage children’s behaviour to prevent collisions, pushing, running into equipment, rough play, or unsafe behaviour.
Venue Protection: Norivan is not responsible for marks, stains, slipping, or venue surface issues caused by bubbles, liquids, guest behaviour, footwear, food, drinks, or failure to follow safety instructions.
7. Supervision & Child Safety
Role of Norivan Staff: Norivan staff lead and supervise the entertainment activities once the setup is complete and the activity has officially started. Norivan staff are entertainers, not childcare providers or babysitters.
Adult Presence: Parents, guardians, or responsible adults must remain present and available throughout the event, especially where very young children or mixed-age groups are attending.
Setup & Pack-Down Safety: During setup and pack-down, Norivan staff must focus on technical safety, equipment placement, cables, lighting, and sound setup. Children must be kept away from the setup area until Norivan confirms that the activity is ready to begin.
Right to Pause or Stop: Norivan reserves the right to pause or stop an activity if children’s behaviour, guest conduct, venue conditions, or safety concerns create a risk.
8. Weather & Outdoor Events
Outdoor Setup: For outdoor events, the Client must provide a safe, dry, and suitable setup area.
Unsafe Weather: Mini Disco equipment cannot be set up in rain, on wet ground, or in unsafe weather conditions.
Indoor Alternative: If weather conditions make the outdoor setup unsafe, the activity may be moved indoors if a suitable indoor space is available.
No Suitable Alternative: If no suitable alternative space is available, Norivan will discuss possible rescheduling options where possible, subject to availability.
9. Damage & Liability
Equipment Damage: The Client is responsible for any damage to Norivan equipment caused by guests, children, adults, venue staff, pets, or third parties during the event.
Covered Equipment: This includes speakers, lights, microphones, cables, DJ equipment, bubble machines, UV lights, props, decorations, and any other equipment provided by Norivan.
Norivan Responsibility: Norivan will take reasonable care to provide a safe and professionally managed entertainment experience.
Client Responsibility: Norivan is not liable for injuries, accidents, allergic reactions, property damage, losses, or distress caused by failure to follow safety instructions, lack of adult supervision, unsafe behaviour, slipping, collisions, unsuitable venue conditions, interference with electrical equipment, power failures, undisclosed medical conditions, photosensitivity, sensory sensitivity, neon products, bubbles, smoke, fog, lighting, sound, party effects, or actions of the Client, guests, venue staff, pets, or third parties.
Legal Limitation: Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
